It's looking good guys. Your team is coming along. All I can say is don't let up. To keep this team going strong, you need to keep encouraging and pulling along your team mates. Help one another and don't give up on each other. If a man is having a hard time making it to practice for whatever reason, try to help him make it work. Talk to the leaders of the team and the coaches. Stick together. Groups of you can get together and go over things that went down in practice. You can still work out off of the practice schedule with a few of you. Go running. Rent the Playstation or x-box rugby game and play it. Go over some set plays with a few of your fellow team mates. Organize random games of touch rugby. It's also important to keep recruiting. Get those t-shirts out there. Talk to your friends who you think might be interested, and talk to those who you might not suspect would like it, as well . You never know. Good rugby players come from anywhere and everywhere. You just have to find them. You guys all have goals. First is to build your team. Next is to hone your skills. Then you build your team culture and unity. Connect with the people who will support you and the team. Play together. Excel in your schooling as well as your sport. Help one another thrive.
Hopefully if it all comes together, you will have built a very successful season. And perhaps this upcoming summer you guys will go to Europe together to do battle on the pitches and play in the streets. It's up to you. Seize the opportunity, fellas. It's the time of your life and it starts now. I'm with you guys. -Art Reply to this

Pick a format and watch. I may be able to come by tomorrow to help out with practice. Unfortunately, my participation will be limited for some time. I'll do my best.

You sent the Blog at 2:58 PM. Your comment about who approves the blog was asked 2 minute later on the Guestbook. There were no other posts that were pending approval on the blog. It is checked four times a day. Sometimes people do not post the proper website or leave out an email and their post is rejected by GODADDY. No posts have ever been rejected by the webmaster for the CSUF Rugby website. Reply to this
I wasn't talking about that blog entry that I submitted just then.
I had submitted one before that didn't go through, but like you said, sometimes posts get lost for whatever reason. The one that was lost I had gotten the same message that the post was pending, but I checked it the next day and it was not there. Some of the other older messages had been moved or were just gone too.
My question was to clarify if the blog was being consciously edited and managed (which by your answer it sounds like it is) or if there is a technical problem with posts getting submitted.
That's the problem with putting a lock on posts for approval. The poster can't be sure that their message will be received which kind of defeats the purpose of the communication medium, which is to reach a larger group of people, quickly.
Spam defense aside, I've found that it hinders communication to do it this way, and if the blog is being checked four times a day anyway, you might as well just spend time editing what you don't want up then, rather than having to manually approve every message.
